Export multiple tracks to one gpx / kml / kmz file

Hello,

I have got the same question like it is described here:

http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/export_multiple_tracks_to_one_gpx_file_and_import_multiple_gpx_file_from_one_folder

The background:

One of my folders contains some routes. I would like to export them into one gpx file, so I need to add in Google's "My Map" one new layer and import only one file. Importing multiple files in "My Map" is very time consuming. Therefore, the exported routes should all be in one single file.

Is it possible?

With best regards,

Alex

Hi Wolfgang,

I tried it several times, but the result is the same. When I export a folder, full of routes, to the kml/kmz format, every route will be saved as a kmz-file, respectively. After the export, I do not have ONE kmz-file, I have so many files, like the amount of routes I selected or which have been visible or activated.

Wolfgang, have you tried it yourself with tracks/routes? Have you received one kmz file out of multiple tracks/routes?

I do not know, maybe I oversee something here...

Hi Alex

be sure it works ;-)

- you should not export folder of tracks

ok, step by step

- disable all Poi´s and tracks: go to poi tab, top right 3-dot button >"deselct all" do it also in track tab

so you are sure no unwished content is on map.

- display/activate all tracks in "track tab"(blue eye) you want export to one kmz file

- go to menu/more/functions/share&export data/Export map content

- close

file is now exported to locus/export

Good luck

Good morning Wolfgang!

It worked! Thank you!

Are you one of the developers of Locus?

Have a great day!

Balloni55 is maybe more active on forum then Locus developer(s) ;).

Anyway mentioned method is "just a temporary workaround", not a real solution on multi-track export requested in separate topic. Glad it's useful.

And @balloni55, thanks!
