Export tracks by bluetooth
Answered
Hallo,
I am running Locus Pro both on my Android (Kitcat) tablet and small Samsung smartphone (4.1.2.).
Whilst I use mainly the tablet for Locus (preparation and car-offroad navigation) I enjoy to track my walks with the small smartphone.
Is there any direct way to transport these tracks to the tablet? As I am no friend of "cloud" and similar solutions, I would prefer to do it by bluetooth. But I always get the error message "file format not supported".
Any ideas?
Regards Christian
Good day Christian,
I'm rather testing it on own device + tablet and it seems to work, so here is what I do:
1. select a track on a map or in list of tracks
2. in menu, select "export"
3. choose GPX or KML and check at bottom "Share exported data"
4. press top "Export" button
5. after export is done, choose "Bluetooth in list".
6. all went well in my case, file was transferred and on second device correctly imported
If same do not happen to you, check if you have latest version of Locus 3.12.0 please, thanks.
Also, I have very good experience with app called "SuperBeam". So you may try it. Just install it on both devices and used it after "export" instead of bluetooth.
Hope this helps.
