Export tracks to movescount

Gathering feedback

http://www.movescount.com/ is a very interresting online tool for multi sports analysis and storage.

It would be perfect if we could export to movescount like for GPSies, Breakcumbs, ...

The export should include the heart rate !

after a few research, it should be possible to do like this :

- export to TCX file

- use MXActivityMover ( http://www.movescount.com/fr/connect/mxactivitymover )

- enjoy...

But life is never as simple as that ;-)

TCX files exported from locus map seems to be invalid :

- Error with MXActivityMover

- Error when I try to upload it to https://connect.garmin.com ( tcx format is from garmin)

Menion, perhaps the xml format has change a little bit ?

hi, unfortunately not. Only "null" in MXActivityMover and "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again" on garmin page.

Hmm may you upload your problematic file here (maybe packed to zip due to limitations of this help desk), so I will test same file as you use. Seems there are some pages like this http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/ , that should be able to load TCX, so I'll try it.

So hard for me to test it as I do not have account on Garmin connect or MoveScout. So sorry, for now, I'm unable to help.

EDIT: hmm so I've created account on Garmin Connect. Seems their only error is "An error occured with your upload. Please try again later". Nice. Garmin is well know to really strictly request exact specification of it's files. I'm fighting with Basecamp all these years and worst app I never meet (in terms on compatibility with various data formats).

EDIT2: I've just found one small issue in order of DistanceMeters and HeartRateBpm, but solving of this issue had no effect on upload to Garmin. Hmm, no idea on my side.

My tries :

- runkeeper loads only route, not the BPM

- gpsvisualizer, when export to "plain text table" BPM is missing too.

Do you have a valid TCX file with BPM I could look in ?

Hmm yes, I've same result with RunKeeper. Interesting.

You pointed me on correct place, problem found and fixed. Anyway Garmin Connect still refuse to import.
