Folders for Points
Locus is very powerful.
That's the reason why I'm using it as a Tour database, too.
The idea to have different folders for tracks and points works well for a lot of cases. But there are cases where this doesn't make sense.
I have multiple points for each single track (parking places, sight seeing, hotel, lunch....).
The best solution to keep such points to the track would be the possibility to store such points in the same folder as the track(s). But I think this is too complicate.
Right now my solution is to have a point folder for each single track.
This means a lot of point folders.
For Tracks we have groups and folders. For Points we have just folders. It would be nice to have the same group mechanism for Points, too. Then I can create a point folder for each single track without exploding the point folder view.
I think groups for points makes sense for other users, too. In this case please rate this idea.

as @Condor correctly wrote, we already have "groups" for a points. You also named your idea as "folders for points", so to be true, I'm confused what is wanted here :).

"Join track with selected poi points". Complicated ? Complicated = Missing function: "Join" > "Add points into track" (not offered by Locus). Import attached file into Locus database. Select "merge points with tracks". (= Not complicated).

By hell. You're right. I missed it. I forgot that I have to create a group to see the selection in point edit dialog.
