Geocache Icon Type: "MyOwn"

today`s Locus is able to show individual icons for geocache types, and as soon as a cache has been marked as found, it gets the `found` icon.

besides this, it would be nice to also have a special `MyOwn` icon, indicating all caches of a specified owner.

this would allow to differ between caches on the todo-list and and owned caches.

HI Menion!

Could you, pls, tell us how the icon should be selected in GPX code.

in settings of locus, you`ll set your user name on gc.com

during import of caches (so re-import will be unfortunately needed), I test this value to value from groundspeak:owner tag and if they`re same, Locus set cache as your own. Is this fine?

that sounds great, thanx!

That should work fine!

Another (additional) option would be to use "Geocache Owned" (not official GS symbol?) in sym field. Official values are "Geocache Found" and "Geocache".

This would enable more control with user generated GPX files.

You should consider this, when you have finished with all other improvements to Locus :)

...but whenever options for gpx import are added, they still have to be compatible to data import from gsak db!

ok, "Geocache Owned" support added also

great, thanx!

would be nice if there would be a "singe click"-toggle option to show/hide owned and found caches on the map, without the need to check/uncheck this option in the gsak addon and reload.

i.e. just a viewing option in locus!

When I update my own cache, the icon is changed into a normal traditional?

The icons on my other caches are still okay, but I didn`t dare to update them.

hi, unfortunately I`m unable to simulate this problem.

Do you have correctly set your user name in Locus > settings > geocaching?

That was it. Notice that I checked Geocaching Live and Geocaching4Locus. That makes 3 places to put my user name...

Thanks for solving this
