I'm using Gesture Control on android and in Tracks and Points lists stopped working. I'm swiping at edge of screen for going back but nothing is doing.

In other screens it is working (maps or settings)

Hello Tomas,

can't confirm this behavior. What device are you using? Are we talking about quite new "Gesture navigation" on Android 10+ devices?

Hi Menion,

here I record how I try go back with gesture to map screen from tracks library. Then I open maps library and you can see the gesture is worked. And one more time I try it in tracks library.

Here is my configuration:

I can go back with arrow in left top corner. But it was working before few weeks.

Hello Tomas,

this is a really interesting problem. Also because as I know, "swipe to back" was officially added in the Android 10+. In your case, it seems to be a feature of a Xiaomi device. My colleague with Huawei & Android 9 tried it and Huawei seems to also have some own system that anyway works correctly with the Locus Map app.

So I'm sorry Tomas, but I have no idea how to help here. To me it looks like some problem with the cooperation of the paging library provided by Google (probably the same problem in Maps screen or any other page with "tabs"?) and Xiaomi device. Isn't there a plan for the update to Android 10? It should solve this issue.

Hi Menion,

OK. I didn't know that this Gesture Control is some MIUI (Xiaomi) workaround in Android 9.

I saw, that before it works and now not. Therefore I was thinking that som Locus update made this issue and I was reporting it.

In this case it's ok. Going back in tracks list is rare using and it's not so big problem :)

Hello,

it may be a problem in Locus Map, I'm not saying it isn't. We use some 3rd party libraries that are used in this case and it may be a side effect of this update, anyway because we do not have Xioami device with Android 9 in our team, it's currently impossible to play with it and find out the reason. So thanks for understanding and I wish you a soon update to Android 10 :).

Thanks, Menion
