Google Search dialog: No Back button when nothing found

Just a "quickie" for in-between:

The Google Places Search has an inconsistency: When I search and find something, there's a back button, so I can refine my search (the old search term is even still there). When I find nothing, I have to close the dialog, open it again and enter the complete search again - even if perhaps i only needed to correct a typo.

Don't you think the Back button would also make sense for "Nothing found"?
