GPS and live tracking freezing
Not a Problem
Hi, I use locus pro and sometimes do the live tracking and gps positioning (while live tracking) freeze. after smartphone restart it works fine again, but just for a while. the tracking and gps settings are correct, I think. Any ideas what could be the reason of the issue? thank you. Jan

Does the GPS on the affected phone work normally in general, i.e. for other applications ? As it is known that hardware and software implementation of GPS has very different quality across vendors and models.

as Libor wrote, it is quite complicated question. I personally think that this problem won't be related to just live-tracking feature. You may try for example only a track recording instead and result will be probably same.
Anyway if you wants to do something with it, try track recording as first step. If problem will be same, you should try to create a log immediately you notice this problem happen. How to do it:http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log . Maybe I find something useful in this log.
Also write us device, rom and version of Android please.
And finally ... I do not remember I saw similar problem last time. And because no other people report something like this, expect that I won't have any solution for this. Unfortunately. Thanks for understanding.
