Can we change the size of the line?

I have found the option to change the color but not the thickness.

Thanks.

Good day Frank,

what you found in Locus settings is correct, so there is only an option to change a color.

Depend on how you are skilled with editing of text files. Locus has some advanced settings in config.cfg file in root Locus directory, where is possibility to change some advanced settings: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:advanced:customization:config

Parameter that may be useful for you is guiding_path_map_symbol . It is probably most complicated parameter which define exact shape of guidance line. But if you for example multiple all values by same amount, it should simply increase this guidance arrows that create a line.

Not sure how skilled are you, but if you'll need some help with it, feel free to ask.

Hi,

your answer helps but I am up to this point only able to open and read the configfile.

How can I modify the numbers?

=> What app or better windows programm do I need?

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Wolfang,

I have downloaded notepaad++,

copied the file from the mobile to my pc

changed the lines for the arrows to the values as it is shown in the exampel here:

http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:advanced:customization:config

for the big blue arrows.

# GUIDING

# --------------------------------

# shape of small guiding arrows that create guiding line. Contain of X, Y pixel

# coordinate pairs separated by '|' char. Have to contain at least 3 pairs

#  - default is: -8.0|-2.0|7.0|0.0|-8.0|2.0, which create well known small arrow)

guiding_path_map_symbol=-20|0|-20|-10|0|-10|0|-20|20|0|0|20|0|10|-20|10

Then I saved it and copied the file back to original structure, overwriting the original file.

I started locusmaps, loaded a track und used guiding

BUT I still have very small arrows in blue.

What did I do wrong?

Can you give me advice?

Thanks,

Frank

Hello Frank,

hmm only problem I may imagine is, that Locus was not correctly terminated, so file was not correctly loaded. May you close Locus and check if in file are really changed these values? Thanks.
