How can I implement former recorded tracks of an old Locus Map version into my new locus app

I used Locus Maps on my Glaxy Note for a long time. When I started it the first time in this new year,

it showed me, that I have to uninstall it and to get a new version. Before I did that, I saved the Locus directory on my PC.

Than I install from Google Play the actual Locus Map Pro version. It works fine.

Now I would like to "import" my former tracks into the new version.

I located the former files on my PC in the directory E:\N3 Backup 03.01.2020\Locus\data\database

As I am unable to run the export in my PC, how can I "import" my former tracks in the new app?

Hi Gerhard,

copy content of Locus\data\database from your PC to Locus\data\database folder in your mobile phone. Then restart Locus Map.

Hello Michal,

I did that, but it doesn't work.

Before I did it, I saved the 2020 database also on my PC in a different directory.

Then I copied the 2019 database and started Locus Map. Then no tracks were available.

The Locus screen showed:

- Recorded  0/0

- My tracks 0/0

Then I reversed all what I did, and even with the 2020 database files no records or tracks were shown (as above)

Any Idea?

Hi Gerhard,

when you open the E:\N3 Backup 03.01.2020\Locus\data\database, do you see tracks.db and waypoints.db files? If yes, copy the files to your mobile phone, diretory Locus/data/database. The directory already contains files of the same names - overwrite them with the old ones. Then restart Locus Map.
