How can I turn off "guide to" in side panel?

I set up "guide to" to the right panel. How can I simply turn off "guide to"? The only way I found was to go to points and choose "guide to" again. I don't want to turn on guidance panel. Nice would be to select "guide to" at the right panel again to turn it off or to tap on the "guide to" line and then a pop up menu.
Can I make the guidance line thicker? Hard to see in sunlight.

If I understand it correctly you changed settings and disabled guiding panel. In this case you need to tap on point on map and disable "Guide to" via bubble menu. Or open point's details to disable the guiding as you mentioned.
