Hi,

Locus can generate a "track preview" in JPG format (see http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:management#track_detail_screen bottom menu). Share it e.g. to your mailbox and convert to a PDF in your PC.

Alternative approach is to

  • export the record to GPX
  • display it in GPX aware application, like GPX viewer, or in browser via online GPX service
  • and then save to PDF by a PDF printer, like PDFCreator od DoPDF.

Can I import just the track or can I also see the map with the track that I am viewing it on Locus?

Richard,

you can both, it depends on what you desire. If you want to export just the track, select Export > choose GPX format > export. Then you have to view the file in some GPX-viewing software or website and export a PDF from there. Which is IMHO much more complicated way if you just need a map with a track in PDF. Use either the first way I recommended ("track preview" feature) or the Share&Export data feature > Share screen which exports simply your phone screen shot. The only thing you have to do is to convert the picture to PDF format.

You can just import the track. Just a moment ago I have discovered a very nice GPX online viewing site

Direct viewing of the track on the Locus map is probably possible only via remote control software, perhaps TeamViewer or MyPhoneExplorer. Or, for just a one/few screen pictures, you can create a screenhot and transfer them to the desktop.
