How Include Picture Attachment Of A Point of Interest in Export
Answered
Hi, there,
When creating a point of interest, a picture(or other files) can be attached to the point. When the point is selected from the map, the picture as well as the name of the point will be shown without opening the point, a very cool feature. However, when the point is exported to kmz, the picture or link to picture is completely lost, so even if I re-import the kmz back to Locus, the attachment won't be there. Is there a way to get around this? Thanks
DG
Hi Daisy,
have you enabeled "include icons and attachements" in export dialog?
For me it work,
behavior after reimport of kmz with included picture:
- picture is inside "poi description" and not furthermore in "attachement tab"
- in poi "popup label" is no picture preview
If your problem furthermore exist, please describe step by step your export workflow

Good day Daisy,
we are still waiting for some response from you. As balloni wrote, picture should be included in exported GPX/KML file if you enable this option during export.
Anyway known problem is, that re-imported file do not correctly handle these attachments. This is something that should be fixed in future.
Let us know if your problem still exists.
