How much space is required in the phone to store a vectorised map for the whole world?
For a nautical map (whole world)?
Will is be expensive to buy? or is free alternative available?

Dear Peter,
I'm sorry but we don't offer offline vector nautical maps. There are LoMaps (vector based map) but these maps are focused on hiking cycling or general usage. The whole world can have about 85 GB and downloading from Locus store would cost roughly 100 Euro.
There are alternative sources like OpenAndroMaps or Mapsforge download server.
