How to get next maps into custom maps through providers.xml?

It is clear how to add maps with {x}, {y}, {z} coordinates into providers.xml. But how about next one:

http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/maps/

which has url format as: {x},{y},{x+w},{y+h}?

Thanks for guidance.

Hello myneur,

unfortunately xml file isn't too clever and such feature is not possible. Anyway we may try to contact owner of these maps and if he agree, we should add these maps directly into Locus.

Ah sorry, I see in our system that we already contacted them.

Result from their response is in last sentence:

"Obviously as we have to pay royalties every time a tile is served, we

cannot allow any use of our mapping server outside of Walkhighlands".

So sorry, it's not possible to add these maps to Locus permanently and I also cannot help you with adding, as it breaks their terms of use.

Sad. I realized this is a WMS format. It let me choose layers if I add url as WMS source but then no tiles are available. So they have probably disabled it.

Thanks for the response anyway.

Hmm you're correct. It should be nice WMS service. I'm testing it and checking why it do not work, and seems that result XML file is corrupted and cannot work correctly. So it's probably as you wrote - disabled on their side.
