There are many routes and points of interest built into the lomaps map. You can navigate to any POI You want but can You navigate this routes? If so how?

Dear Marcin,

the offline LoMaps doesn't contain data for navigation/routing. Anyway you can use standard navigation feature that use online routing or you can also set the offline routing as described at https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:point-to-point#brouter_-_offline_routing_service

You can also use the Locus route planner to influence the planned navigation route - please see https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:planning

And many of the tracks visible on LoMaps and other OSM based maps (depending on the theme settings) can be found in the internet as .gpx files. After download you can use them for guiding along that track or even navigation along that track. Like this we hope to continue our E3 hike (after the end of the lockdown).

I don't wanna to search and download unofficial tracks in gpx, kml or any other and then import them to the navigation. I want to do it easy. First tap on the track, second tap on ' navigate on the track' or sth like that.

In my opinion it's a big problem that I can't do it in a nice, ergonomic, fast, easy and pleasant way.

How to easy switch to 'standard navigation feature' and then back to 'my offline navigation configuration'? I don't wanna to reconfigure all LocusMap.

Dear Marcin,

please check the mentioned route planner. You can simply tap on the map to select the start point and endpoint. Locus prepares for you the navigation route - you can add other points to customize the route.

How to offline navigation is described in the mentioned article https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:point-to-point#brouter_-_offline_routing_service

Thank you

Petr
