How to remove imported map overlay?

I am using the lovely function On-board map calibrator to create a map overlay (kmz-file) that where listed in the Map items under data. But after pressing import on the file in map items, I cannot disable the map even though I removed the kmz file (mapItems are empty). How do I remove this "imported" map overlay?

Hello

firstly I believe there is no need to "import" overlay files. Simply tap on them in Data/Items tab and they will load on map. With same tap, you may unload them.

To remove, open also screen Data/Items and in to action bar is button with eye, that removed temporary items from map. Try it.

It was more like a test to see what happened, just realized that the image disappeared after that I closed the software completely and starting it again (just exiting with normal back-back-press did not help).

That bring me back to an 2 years old topic from Jarda Kvapil to remove all items from map with two tap: -> http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/hide_map_items_in_db_submenu

*peace* :D

Hi guys,

even a back-back should work, there is just need to let locus rest at least five seconds before you start it again.

And yes, mentioned topic is something I have still on mind, but beautiful idea, how to simply do it, still do not want to come :)
