No no, sorry but they aren`t. Points you see on screenshots are my personal categories I use for testing. Vector maps and even downloaded maps do not contain any points. So it`s only up to you to obtain required data.
Anyway main source for points depend on you. You just need data in GPX or KML data files and use Locus import feature to add them into Locus
ah here is problem.

thanks for your replies. I understand now, how poi are handled I loaded some but I aim fare from satisfied. I hoped eg to see descriptions but found only the coordinates. maybe I aim still on the wrong path but I will further experiment with it.
I think for the time being I got enough reply from you.
I assume some time in the future this will be a great app.
have further success

Hello,
may you please describe it a little more? Try to check this description http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu... , mainly item "3"

well, I read the description. however, when I go into data and then click points, there appear only two points, which I created myself.
no restaurants etc.
This is true for the onlinemaps OSM CLASSIC and also for mapquest
offline I have downloaded mapquest maps for the region of Kassel zoom 15 and the vector map for Hessen
in no case i get a list of categories in the screen data/points or Pois shown on the map.
maybe I missunderstood the concept but I thought the Pois are part of the map database.
