LoPoints not refresh after return to main map screen

Solved

Hi

Both on the previous version and this one, when first opening Locus maps, Offline maps, Lomaps, or changing to a different map, the icons for bus stops, supermarkets, fuel etc are all shown.

If the saved points list is opened and one of the points is selected, then the point on the small map is navigated to, the icons for bus stops, supermarkets, fuel etc are no longer shown.

Even zooming in and out does not show them again, I don't know of any way to refresh the map is there one?

The only way I found to bring them back is to open another type of map close it again then re-open the original map and the icons return.

Good day Jeffrey,

thank you for the precise bug report. The issue with a refresh of these so-called LoPoints found and will be fixed in next 3.39.0 version.

I was just checking out the (for me) new LoPoints (Beta) function in Locus Pro 3.44.3: for that I downloaded the latest LoMap for Netherlands 24.02.2020: then I see quite a lot of POIs popping up: quite nice ! Now I see great use of all the URLs for POIs I added as editor in OSM.

When I click on a POI and then come back to main screen, then the POIs are gone; doing some zooming in/out they appear again. For me as user that disapearing behaviour is unexpected.

Current system is maybe 5 years old and has many many problems, this is one of them. Definitelly this year, whole POI system will be massively improved, but for now, agree that this is nasty issue, I'll try to as least fix this, thanks.

Thanks: works a lot better now in 3.45.0!

I am using it to compare the POI capabilities of LoMaps vs OpenAndroMaps (https://www.openandromaps.org/oam-forums/topic/poi-nutzbarkeit-der-dateien-mit-locus/page/11).

And also the POI handling between all Apps that rely on OSM: Locus - OsmAnd - Maps.Me - Magic Earth: I like how other apps have integrated POI handling (eg showing websites) more/better than Locus.

I just compare, and App #1 is Locus of course :)

Hi, perfect!

One of us is 100% focused on creating new POI database system, so I'm sure this year will come huge improvements in this area ;).
