Are the downloads really 1:50000? The hiking maps, Cartes de Randonnee, are usually 1:25000, and your site illustration appears to show one of these.

thank you for post. You're right the description is wrong. You can really download the most detailed zoom-level. It includes the 1:25 000 scale and there is also more detailed scale but it doesn't contain hiking information. I suggest to download max. zoom level=15 or level=16.
