Dear Thomas,

I'm sorry for troubles. Could I ask you for more information, please? What happen if you tap on "Continue"? Is downloading interupted? Is there any error message?

Thank you

Hi Petr, if I press continue I see a Window with the message "Working" for two or three seconds then a short download activity but then nothing happens. If I click on "Maps" again I am in the same Situation. An uncomplete download and I could press continue....(so I Do several times, but never reached to complete the download). Is IT possible that the download Cache is limited?

Hi Thomas,

thank you for info. Maybe some additional questions:

  • The downloading activity is closed by Locus or by you?
  • The map is downloaded into folder /Locus/maps as *.sqlitedb file - namely it should be "la_javie.sqlitedb". Would you please check if this file exist?
  • Please check also Menu > Settings > Miscellaneous > Default directories > 'maps' folder - is the path for this folder located in the internal memory?

Thank you

Hallo Petr, thanks you find the error. Here the answers:

1.I saw the download arrows in the menu bar of the mobile phone flashing

2. There is no such file in the directory, but....

3. The path was set to the SD card, not to internal memory. After changing the path to internal memory the download work and the file exists.

Perhaps an error message is usefull when trying to download to a wrong location.

Thank you again.

Hello Thomas,

thank you for great info. You're right it isn't ideal solution - there should be a warning when user change the location for 'maps' folder (be default is 'maps' folder located in the internal memory). We'll discuss it.

BR Petr
