I have an iGO Primo navigation app on my phone.

Is there a way to add it to the list of map apps in Locus Map?

Hello Stefan,

It usually depend on navigation application, not just on Locus. They have to allow "call" from 3rd party apps (like Locus), otherwise Locus is not able to send request to them.

Anyway most apps appear under "maps" button in point context menu. May you check it? It's in bottom points menu > 3rd party apps > Map apps > Maps

Thanks for the quick response!

I did check Map Apps, but not in Maps. Sadly it was nothing there either.

I do know that iGO respond on calls from external apps on iPad (with the url: igomyway://G47.498562;19.040910)

But I also know that IOS is another matter.

There is no visible setting in iGO for third party apps, So I guess I have to look deeper...

It's not in "maps"? Hmm it's very weird if any map app isn't in this list. It usually means that devs don't care about some deeper integration of their app in the system.

One more question - is there any action, like tap on address, insert of 'geo:...' url to web browser or similar, on which this navigation app react?

I have to investigate that.

iGO is my favorite on iPad and it is only half officially available on Android, so I guess that is the reason for the lack of third party support.

OK, Investigated. If I click on a coordinate on a webpage, I can navigate with my other navigation apps (I get them as alternatives). But not iGO, so the problem is in that app and not Locus.

Thanks for the help so far. I'll continue on the iGO side of the problem.

That's what I expected. Fine.

If you find any news or if iGo developers add some support for 3rd party apps, let me know.
