Import calibrated map in .gif format.
Answered
Hello,
I try to import a calibrated *.gif map into Locus. Locus reports it was successful, but the card didn't show up.
I have the .gif-file in the same folder as the .map-file. The .map-file references to the .gif file.
Any idea?

Dear Andreas,
I'm sorry but Locus doesn't support calibrated image maps. Please convert this file to the any following formats:
sqlitedb format - use the Mapc2mapc SW. Please see http://www.the-thorns.org.uk/mapping/help/locus.html
mbtiles format - you can use qgis with QMetaTiles plugin
After that copy the converted file to the folder /Locus/maps and start Locus it's not needed to import it. Locus load it during start.
Thank you
Best regards
Petr
