Good day Venereo,

may you please give me exact steps? In which browser, which web page, which link etc. so I may reproduce this problem. Thanks

Link is the generic cache url, in this case was http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC44HYR

Browser is chrome

I'm using a temporary folder to work around

Thanks, I was finally able to test it.

You are correct. When you use "Import to Locus" choice. then Geocaching4Locus application correctly download a cache and call "Import" feature of Locus. And Locus do not offer "Only display". Anyway this is correct behavior. You wants import, this then happen - you import.

Agree that "Only display" option may be useful in some cases. Anyway I cannot simply change it because it then break some other features that use same system. So sorry, but you will have to use workaround as you already do.

I think the purpose it's the same that made you create the show only option, locus it's a better way of reading cache listing than the geocaching.com site, especially on a mobile phone. If it's calling locus import function why isn't it offering the same options?

Or at least create a option "view on locus"

As I wrote, it is not about "why it isn't same". I agree that it should be same in this case. Anyway system that is used by Geocaching4Locus is used on few more places in Locus and I currently do not want to break some other features in Locus because of this "problem", which was reported after few years since this exists in Locus.

So agree with your comment, but it will have to wait, till I'll do some other major changes in import system.

I guess it's feature request for me. And as I know it's still lying in a issue tracker: https://github.com/arcao/Geocaching4Locus/issues/16

I will try to do something with it in a next version.

Hello Arcao,

I've added you as subscribed to this topic because I thought it is some problem in G4L, but seems not. Call you used over Locus API just works in this way.

Anyway you think about solution, like a second button "Display in Locus", which will call directly display and center, without need to go over "Import dialog"? Hmm should be also usable and quite fast solution, nice idea I think.
