Include the Add point (Photo) function as an option for the new Functions Panel

I'm wanting the function that enables once track recording is started (as one option from among a drop down list) and inserts the point right onto, and as integral part of, the track being recorded.
The similar functions that are currently available for inclusion in the Functions Panel--Add new point, Add new point (camera ) and Quick new point--seem either to create discrete waypoint favourites that are not part of the track being recorded or do not include a photo with the point being inserted onto the track.

I think my topic is totally clear, especially given that we are limited to the number of words for the topic. And my description was very clear.
Right now it takes 3 taps (plus actually taking the photo). What I've suggested would take 1 tap (plus actually taking the photo). I personally use the photo points only when track recording.
Anyway, It's just an idea...if you don't like it, so be it.

Perhaps the app's function names should be changed to better indicate that Add point (Photo) creates a track point while Add new point (Camera) creates a discrete photo waypoint that is not part of a track. This sure fooled me recently when I tried the new Functions Panel for the first time...I assumed they were the same thing and didn't end up with any photo points I thought I'd put into my latest track.
Perhaps Add track point (Photo) and Add waypoint (Photo) would be clearer.

Why make it complicated when you can put the 3-waypoint functions in the top and right panel even while recording. Just one tap in adding waypoints.

"Add Point (Photo)" button can be added to the top bar. It will launch the camera with one tap only.

I've been using it for the last couple of hikes. I'm always on the look-out for ways to save hiking data and photos faster so I don't get left too far behind the group!
