Inconsistent data
Good afternoon. First sorry for English. Google.E used the translator as here would be the need to support help. I bought the app for navigation (mode: off-line) the closed trails as the FREE version he answered me perfectly. Anyway, the big problem I'm having is with the data recorded with the Locus and Strava.
The problem is that the Locus and Strava data when entered in Google Earth (Show Elevation Profile) are almost equal, and the APP program they are different.
It will be a mistake both in the reading of the data or will be a Google Earth error?
Wait. Thank you.

Boa Tarde.
Aguardo. Obrigado.
Hi, I'm not sure if I understand - do you mean that the elevation profile is different in Google Earth and in Locus/Strava?

Yes. See below.
LocusMap Google Earth ->
Elevation Gain: 501m ( Not 683m - as in the picture )
Distance: 33.2KM
Maximum Speed: 58.2KM/h ( Not 48.8KM/h - as in the picture )
Strava Google Earth ->
Elevation Gain: 502m
Distance: 33.3KM
Maximum Speed: 58.3KM/h
Not that the Strava is better, because it was what came closest level of "Google Earth".
I used as a reference also Maplorer.com and LocusMap was the most difference offered.
STRAVA:
Total climb - 599m
Total descent - 558
Lowest point - 792
Highest point - 1047
lOCUS:
Total climb - 1245m
Total descent - 1196
Lowest point - 777
Highest point - 1035
Sorry the English. But I used Google Translate.
Thank you.

Locus and Strava calculate the values from GPS (plus barometer if it's present) and both use some different method of optimization - that's why there are slight differences. When importing the track to Google Earth their measured elevation gain no longer matters as Google Earth places the GPS points on its digital 3D model of landscape and re-calculates the track's elevation gain - the differences are close to zero. I can't say anything regarding Maplorer as I don't know the software.

I understand yes. however, Strava, which was closest to reality as shown in data from Google.
In my Cataye cycling computer he gave me the following measures:
-> Distance: 35.10KM (In Locus precision distance is greater - in this way - as you can see in the picture above.)
-> Max speed: 59.4Km / h (In Strava reports 58.7 km / h and Locus with 49.8Km / h)
-> Media Speed: 12.2km / h (Here the two were similar, with an acceptable difference, where the Locus with 11.3km / h and the Strava with 11Km / h)
-> Time real movement: (. Locus also more precise in its real movement) 2h 51m
Only strange speed, elevation gain and elevation Locus pass me the wrong way or optimize.

You know, measurements of cycling computers based on collecting impulses from magnetic sensors on the wheels will always be the most accurate. However, Locus offers many ways of settings of the measurement (unlike Strava) - you can adjust your track recording profile exactly to your needs - time and distance frequency of recording trackpoints, applying GPS optimizing filters etc. See Locus manual: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:recording:profiles_settings
