Is it possibble to display GPS Public traces from OpenStreetMaps?

OpenStreetMaps has a handy feature - the ability to show on the map Public GPS traces. As I don't want to run into a dead end in my next forest/mountain trip, If I had the ability to see, that other people actually walked through some path would be of great help.

I cannot find it in the App, does anyone knows if it is possible at all?

I'm sorry but it isn't possible. You can only upload own track record to OSM or display OSM Notes.

There is a tileserver which you can use to overlay OSM public gps traces over the map. I can provide a custom map provider xml if there's still interest in this.
