If your calb.map is a kmz item - Locus has no option to manipulate transparency.

item is on top - map overlay has no effect to items.

but you can set transparency in your item.

load your kmz map into GE and set transparency:

Thanks for your answer.

It would be very nice if there would be an option in Locus to change the tranparency because changing the transparency in GE is very laborious

I submitted this same request over a year ago now. Its under the title "Variable opacity for On-board Map Calibration overlay". Menion responded and arranged it to be "collecting votes" which its still doing. Nicolai, Iets vote for each other! Be nice if this idea could move forward into reality

Can't find your submitted idea Nicolai :(

Topic of Nicolai was already merged to this (your) topic: http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/variable-opacity-for-on-board-map-calibration-overlay

And suggest everyone to vote. To be true, I have already did a first step last week, so there is high probability that this idea will be implemented this year ;).

Good day Nicolai, right after I merged your new topic to this one, I precisely read your question. Sorry.

Anyway, there is no change around transparency of calibrated maps. Change you probably read in changelog was related to "Map overlays" function, not this one.

Oh I'm sorry

I confused it with the onboard calibrated maps :(
