I wish I could disable (or have the option to close) thewarning 'gps off', but that does not seem possible (see attachment).

Oki understand. An alternative approach is to set settings > GPS & sensors > Run at the start to other value than "Always". Locus Map should then enable GPS when needed for navigation, track record etc.

For what you need already exists settings in config.cfg called "gps_notify_if_disabled_during_start", so you may use it already now. Because I'm slowly moving all settings from config.cfg to Expert settings, this option will be in expert settings in next version of Locus Map.

Hello,

I have to ask ... why this popup is a problem? Isn't it useful information that may save some nerves when you notice in the middle of the trip that app does not record a track because GPS is disabled in the system?

Yes, I understand the argument and I respect the intentions.

For my part, I activate the GPS only when I need it, so the pop-up is displayed each time I open Locus and I find that it remains displayed relatively long.

But when I open Locus I do not always need GPS, especially for:

- Draw a route from my home,

- Download gpx files

- Find or change settings

- Consult / reorganize my files (course, points)

- Familiarize myself with this or that function

When the pop-up appears, I often make the gesture of the touch to make it disappear ...

Ah yes. I did not think of the alternative options of 'launch at startup' in the GPS & sensors settings

Thank you and congratulations for your answers.

OK for Expert settings.

Good night ;-)
