Solved

Is it possible to hide the thick white navigation turn arrow on the map during navigation.

- It concealed details of the map.

- It is unnecessary because the route is displayed violet in the map and a detailed big turn arrow with distance is displayed at the upper top left side during navigation.

- It causes a display error with white lines or bars across the entire screen (at Samsung S4 active HD 1080 x 1920)

Hello Mafrijo,

unfortunately this is not possible. There is currently no settings to hide this navigation arrow.

Anyway last point you wrote is interesting. Are you able to post a screenshot with graphical problems you see on a map? Thanks

It was not easy, because this error occurs sporadically like as a flashing image.

But I managed it - see the attached screenshots.

To be complete, here is scene1 without fault.

I'm pretty desperate. I use very often locus for navigation - but with this image error it is very annoying and sometimes not usable. Especially in cities where the white arrow is displayed almost permanently.

Ah this is crazy, never saw such problem. may you please send me on locus@asamm.com email with this track exported as GPX file? Thank you. I'll try to simulate it on my device if it isn't some problem related to this track.

Hello Mafrijo,

sorry for a quite late reponse.

I'm now preparing release of new bug-fix version 3.0.1 and I'm finally checking what may cause these troubles. Your data are fine, so it's not a problem.

I know about some weird rare problem on some devices, which cause that massive using of basic functions like sin/cos etc. cause troubles. I've just created simplified version of function that compute this navigation arrows (it's enough precise here), so let me know after you update to 3.0.1, if it helps. Thank you

Many thanks for all your efforts to solve this problem. I am very glad

about this, because I use Locus Pro daily, not only for geocaching, but

also for normal street navigation in my car. It's better than the internal

navigation system.

Of courese I will give you Feedback after updating to Version 3.0.1

Best Regards

Hello Menion,

I have updated to Version 3.0.2 and tested the navigation function very intensive the last days. And YES, the arrows are displayed correctly everytime - it works without faults (the first time since 3 month - since I use a Samsung S4active). So many thanks for your Support and beside ... 5 stars for locus pro i have voted already, but where can I vote five stars for such a good support.

Best regards Mafrijo
