Is there any Calibration available for the 'Heading Line'

With Locus Pro, I've found the 'heading line' to be quite useful in verifying which direction to head in . I've noticed though, in my instance, the heading line is not accurate with respect to my actual surroundings. It's consistently off by a number of degrees. I've played with the Compass settings but have not been able to affect any change. Currently I have it set for:

Hardware Compass

Use True Bearing (on)

Compatibility Mode (on)

I've not been able to find that this was discussed before.

Is there some means to tweak the heading line or, twist the map slightly to align these correctly to my actual current surroundings?

Thank you for your time.... great tool this!!

Hi Neil

inside config.cfg (file is inside locus folder) it´s possible to set an offset value for the hardware compass

search there for

hardware_compass_offset=

Save your modification and restart locus

I hope it help

Thanks Wolfgang... that seems to do what I want.

Just need to calibrate it, there's Dam nearby with a 1000 foot long straight railing, perfect for this as the same is also on the LoMap.

Much appreciated!
