is memory draining issue solved?

I used locus for hiking and biking all the time as well aa for tourism, but after few months it started draining my phone`s internal memory. I`m not installing or recommending the app unless this is solved because uninstalling the app wouldn`t give me back memory. I had to do a factory reset.

catovick, I`m sure it will not be a locus problem. There are two possibilities what can cause this.

1. check your installed applications in system settings > apps > installed. Sort them by size and check if any of them don`t take too much cache. If so clear it (should be some memory client or web browser)

2. I heard about this issue some times (maybe a year) ago. I was issue on some 2.2 (maybe older, don`t remember exactly) devices (what`s your device btw?) when system stored all crash logs of applications in separate file but do not clear these data so everytime some application crashed, some information was added to this file. I cannot find it now, but for this, you need root access and just delete in some system folder this (maybe more) file(s).

thank you for repy Menion,

It used to be 2.1 when it happened, now it`s 2.2

I tried deleting cache and all folders I could find that relate to locus without succes. But, my phone wasn`t rooted since it was still in warranty period.
