it would be a good idea to have a scale (on down left for example) on the Live tracking map on the website page (http://www.locusmap.eu/live-tracking/)

I agree this would be nice, we have been actually thinking about this before but just forgot to add the scale onto the map. I will check if it could be implemented easily a try to add it next time I update the map web component.
