After my phone automatically upgraded to the latest version of Locus Map, the paths that are tracked became very jittery, especially compared to previous paths along the same streets. Is a setting wrong?

sometimes, very seldom!, single settings are changed unfortunately with unknown reason after update .
So if you know "your settings" compare "Parameters" described

alternatively, if you have a backup ahead of your last update, try to restore settings from this backup
