Jpeg to Sqlite, is it possible?

Is there a way to use maps (JPEG) from another GPS app and transfer them to locus sqlite format for offline use. I`m using canada topo and another bunch of gps applications but is a simply don`t have all the functionality locus. Of all of these applications locus is by far the best. I have only 1 problem with the program is that it doesn`t offer any possibility to download directly from application like you use to. MOBAC for u for us canadians. I`d like to be able to download from locus some Atlogis maps that would be the best, but everything on Locus seems geared towards the european market.

If anybody could help with this they`d be a lifesaver.

Hi,

It`s not true that we`re focusing mainly on European market. It`s just simple fact that we live in central Europe, so we know maps and firms around us. Anyway if anyone give us tips on any map company that we should contact about maps outside of Europe, we`ll gladly do it

anyway about your question. I think that best for conversion of map formats to some format usable by Locus (suggest GEMF or RMAP which should be little bit faster then SQLite), you should try mapc2mapc program http://www.the-thorns.org.uk/mapping/... , I don`t do such things with maps, but as I heard, this software should cover all these map transformations tasks
