I`ve bought Locus pro on AndroidPit in October. Now it says at every start "Anwendung ist nicht lizensiert."

Hi,


when did Locus start telling you this? Since version 2.x (around end of february or start of march) or was it there before?


Do you have a working internet connection on your device when you start Locus? Because Locus checks the licence information on first start after an update.

Hi,


I noticed that around end of february or start of march.


Internet Connection is working. I`ve Locus installed on two devices.


On first, Galaxy 3, i have the problems.


On second device, Galaxy Ace, i have no problems. Locus is working fine.

ich habe Locus noch einmal deinstalliert, reboot und neu installiert. Fehlermeldung bleibt die selbe. Bin ich denn der einzige mit dem Problem?

I`ve uninstalled locus once again, reboot and installed new. Error message remains the same. Am I the only one with this problem?

Hi,


I`m sorry. It`s still not working properly.


With 3G switched on it seems to be ok.


But when I start the app without 3G in WiFi the verification can not be done.

Hi,


the aplication Locus Pro requires after first run or re-install verify of the license.


For verify this license is needed an internet connection. Otherwise you can ́t use the Pro version of the Locus.


What to do, in case of failure verify license:


1) verify a quality of the internet connection


2) sometimes it needs a few times and therefore you can run the Locus five times before the Locus changes to Free version. The problem can be in the Google server, so we recommend to try it again later


3) in case of failure five attempts, try to remove cache of the app Locus in settings of your mobile device, re-start it and try point nr. 2 once again.


4) in case of repeated failure, please contact us with this informations:


- where did you buy the Pro version of the Locus (Google Play, AppCenter and so on)


- the order number or the date of the purchase


- which version of the Locus do you use?


- what exactly happens when you run the Locus?


The list above is needed for quick solution of your trouble.

Meanwhile I changed my ROM to KyrillosRom v10.


And there`s no problem any more.

License Problems


Yesterday i bought the Locu-Pro App out of the Androidpit market.


I installed in on two different Mobiles: HTC DESIRE Z; Archos 80 G9 Tablet


Now i have license Problems on both mobiles.


The Error-Code says:


Anwendung nicht lizenziert


Problem mit der Überprüfung der Lizenz


How can I solve this problem?


I already reinstalled the App.


GPS and WLAN is on while i start the App.


I cleaned the Cache and delete all Data


Its Version 2.2.0 from the AndroidPIT-Market.

non of information in first post helps you? Also is Locus able to store some settings for you? For example if you define new button on right panel, are they on correct place when you restart application?

Right, non of these post helps me.


The placed Buttons stay on the side.


When i will start the geocaching live tool it says that it only works with the Pro Version.

I also have the same problem.


I have tried all the above and keep on getting the "application not licensed" error.

sorry, PM on forum isn`t best place. These issues usually solve Hanka, but she`s in another work for a week. Check please last post from me here https://getsatisfaction.com/locus/top...


last Google play applications have some weird problems with downloading apps so this should be similar issue (for license verification is used Google Play app ...). If this will not help then let me know, I`ll check your license in Google Checkout and then, because nothing helps are two possibilities - testing versions with some debug messages and your assistence or refund of money.


I have no idea what should be wrong here. If there is working internet connection and working Google Play application, then there should not be any problem

Hey Menion,


my Problem is solved.


I don ́t know what ́s the solution.


I think waiting is the answer.


After the "not licensed" error I put the "retry" button and waited a few minutes.


On the top there was an Icon which says something like "tryin to connect to the server".


Is it possible that it was an Server error?


This "retry and waiting" solution worked on both Androids i use

Hello,


we have unfortunately same experience. That`s why usually on licence problems response after a day, not immediately. Usually this is solved "by time". License verification is not done on our server but directly in application, so problem should be in app itself or in Google Play application itself. And we still don`t know ...


anyway good that it works for you. Because of some troubles on Google side, I think it`s should be some temporary problem not in Locus

Still no change here


When i press retry the box telling me the application is not licensed just dissapears.


It is when i try i any of the "pro" features it comes up with a box prompting me to buy it.


Locus has been working great for me so what is wrong now?


Please fix it for me or refund me.I hope it can be fixed as it is by far the best for geocaching/hiking for me.

Sorry starman, only just saw your comment.


It is 100% pro i have.


I have used it no problem since i bought it.It was only after changing rom that the problem showed.I have the orange san fransisco (zte blade) which has a few roms for it,and i have tried a few (including my old rom) and i get the same problem.


I have formatted all data etc so cannot understand the problem,oh and all other bought apps are working fine.In " google play" "my apps" shows i have purchased locus but i get the application not licensed error when i run it.

Hmm. Did you originally start out with Locus Free and then upgrade? Pro and Free are seperate apps, so you may still have Free installed. Usually that is not a problem, but since you are running custom ROM, it might be worth a try to uninstall Free if it is installed. Maybe even reboot phone after.

I just noticed in your previous post, you wrote that Google Play states for Locus Pro as "Purchased".


If you purchase an app and install it, Google Play should say "Installed". Then if you uninstall the app, Play will say "Purchased".


Sure sounds like a problem with Google Play, but you say that your other paid apps work fine. Menion alluded to some problems with Play, have you tried an uninstall/reinstall recently?


But you also said above that it was fine before you started using a custom ROM, so could be the ROM.

Thanks again for trying to help Starman


In order to try a new rom i backed up everything and totally wiped the phone.


Wether a backup or a complete new download/set up it doesn`t matter as i still get the same error.


I tried the free version of the app in the past but l liked it so much that i paid for it and never had any problems until now.


All other paid apps work great and each one of them says "purchased" and yet they work fine.I have uninstalled the latest update of google play and still no difference.I feel i really have tried everything to fix this but nothing changes.


A normal app i would just say ok forget it but Locus is great for the Geocaching/hiking that i do at the weekends so i`m desperate to get it working.
