List (and display) tracks going over or going past a specified location.

I have made (and recorded) many rides and sometimes wonder if I have traveled over a certain road and if so, which tracks took me there. I would like to specify a location (ideally a road), and a folder of tracks and see the tracks that go over that location or road.

So for example, I would pick all the tracks in a certain folder in Locus and then pick a location using the standard location dialog box. The result would be a list of the tracks which have gone by that location. Ideally, I would be able to see all the tracks on the map at once.

This isn't so much a request for a Locus feature as it is a question as to whether any application can do this somehow.

Good day David,

even you created it as question, I've changed it to idea as nothing like this is possible in Locus for now.

And ... "somehow" ... I hope someone more skilled with some desktop applications will have any useful hint for you.

In the end, this requires a spacial search feature for tracks - e.g. "any track with max distance of 15m to this point" (e.g. a crossing) or "any track touching this way" (e.g. a street or another track). And in that, I'm very interested - currently, I have to store one waypoint per hike/trail/... I did and search for the point.

@David: Another workaround would be to store your tracks in a database for which a spacial search exists, like overpass turbo for the OSM database. You may look at gpsies.com, hikr.org etc. for such a functionality.

Thanks for the leads on how to solve this question. I'll take a look and see how it what works best. It even seemed interesting to maybe try to solve it myself.
