LM changes battery optimization to "don't" after starting

Locus Map resets Battery Optimization from "don't optimize" back to "Optimize" 10-15 minutes after starting. The result is that LM then stops. I've tried starting LM and then going to battery optimization to select "Don't optimize" but that has not helped. I'm totally stumped on what is causing this. Any suggestions appreciated.
Device: OnePlus 5T + Android 8.1

I have to say, that I read something like this for the first time.
We tried to allow Locus Map to change this setting directly to solve this problem with optimization. Unfortunately, to change it, the app needs a permission ( as documented here ). We added this option, published on Google Play and ... after few days, Google removed the whole app that we do the unsupported behavior. So I guarantee, that Locus Map itself cannot change this setting. So there has to be some really serious problem in your device, or you somehow re-installed app which reset this option or you have some other application that changes this setting. I have no clear explanation for this, but I'm really close to be sure, that it is not Locus Map problem.
Maybe someone other here with OnePlus device has some experience with this? (or maybe ask on XDA forum?)

Thanks for following up Menion - yes, it's a puzzling problem. I will look into my other apps to see if one of them is responsible for the battery optimization reseting. Late yesterday OnePlus just updated their Android/Oxygen OS - and maybe this new version includes a fix for the problem.
