Lock zoom and pan to show full route
Declined
After I have selected a waypoint and chosen "guide on", I want to be able in some way to lock pan and zoom so both current position and the waypoint is close to the screen edge.
Hi,
I'm not sure if I correctly understand you question. Anyway how Locus works:
- disable centering - button [7] at http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:screens:main_screen
- start guiding
- set map to the position you're interested in. And Locus will preserve this view

But instead of having current position in the middle of the screen I want current position close to the screen edge and the waypoint close to the opposite edge. As I move around I want Locus to zoom in (or out) and pan so actual position still is close to the screen edge. I manually panned and zommed to achieve this once (screenshot attached), but I want some kind of mode where Locus make this automatically as my position changes.

I see something like "Keeps point and my position visible" So lets users vote for it :) Maybe one note: there is a feature Menu > Seetings > Map - control & panels > Shift map center. It move "center" to the bottom part of screen so you get "bigger" map view

Hello,
I believe it's very similar to this idea http://help.locusmap.eu/responses/auto_zoom_based_on_distance_to_waypoint . So I suggest to vote for it.
