Locus 3.45.0 doesnt find BRouter profiles
Answered
I use BRouter as offline routing tool. But in the ‘BRouter Settings’Locus Pro only shows Locus profiles. If the switch is in position ‘BRouter Profiles’, the window is grey. The BRouter app finds all the BRouter-profiles. Where is Locus looking for the BRouter-profiles?
I reinstalled BRouter, but it didn't help.
Hi Michal,
thanks for your reaction! Ok, I was wrong. It has nothing to do with the function of the switch! But at my old tablet (also Locus Pro 3.45.0 , maybe BRouter 1.5.5? ), I can choose in the Locus BRouter Settings for both; the Locus profiles and all my 14 BRouter profiles. I guess, it has nothing to do which routing profiles I select in the BRouter app itself. Why can’t Locus find the BRouter-map profiles2?

Hi Christian,
when you switch off Locus profiles the configuration box becomes inactive (grey) because there is no option to configure BRouter-specific profiles within Locus. This can be done only in BRouter app itself. There you can map any profile to the five profiles visible in Locus app.

Hi Christian,
yes, that was possible on older versions of Android but on the newer ones, BRouter has problems with writing on SD card. I recommend to have a look at https://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=6913.0 for some tips and tricks how to tackle this.

Hi Michal,
thanks, I had found the solution in the forum! With the profiles in the additional map internal-memory/brouter/profiles2, Locus will show also the BRouter profiles.
