Locus as default download app on android

Since locus is installed on my Note4 android. The app is automatically opening to manage any type of download i do on the phone. Even if it is download not related with locus (in this case it is a zip file with pictures).

I've tried to reset program association by default but still locus is opening to manage the download and is retuning error as the file is not readable by locus.

How can i change this and refrain Locus to manage all my downloads?

Good day David,

little bit complicated task. Fact that Locus Map tries to handle all your zip file ( app does not know what is inside of zip archives ), means that in your device is missing better application that may do it.

How are you downloading zip files? Over some web browser? Try to write me more so I may try to simulate this issue on own device, thank you.

Im receiving (in this case) an email with a link to Wetranfers, when i clic on the link. Locus stars automatically.

thanks for sharing a new screenshot, it helped as I was able to simulate same issue with Wetransfer shared files. This is anyway quite stupid. I believe that all is correctly set in Locus Map. It should simply handle zip files received to your device. But it should handle it as one of many applications. Anyway even on my device, only Locus is automatically started.

I've found anyway a solution on this problem. Do you have same settings screen in your device for Locus Map app (in settings > list of installed applications > Locus Map )?

If you change bottom "Go to supported Urls" to other option, it should solve this issue. Hope you will have such settings in your device and it helps to you.

You could try: Enter into phone-settings , general, application manager...hit meny button (down-left), reset app preferences.

I believe that, among others changes, this do exactly what do "Clear defaults" button in my screenshot above.

And as you may see, I already tap on it ( Locus is not set as default app for any file type ) and it still have same problem with when downloading from this web site.
