Locus Free Offline maps didnt load on 2nd device

I have Locus free on my android phone. I just purchased an Android tablet. When I installed Locus free on my tablet through my account on Google Play Store (same account on both devices) my offline maps didnt come along for the ride?

Hi,

you can follow the steps as c.s.g. posted or you can download maps from Locus Store. I guess that you used LoMaps maps on your phone. LoMaps can be downloaded for free during one year from the purchase or the last update.

Thanks for the replies. Tried c.s.g.'s idea but no luck. Maybe Im not technical enough? Yes I have Locus Free on my android phone. Downloaded a couple Locus offline maps from Locus store. Just thought I may have been able to load them when I put Locus Free on my new android tablet. I'll keep playing with it.... Thanks again....

So the maps are displayed on my phone but I think what happened is the downloaded maps I imported into Locus were stored on my SD card that went bad a few months ago and I installed a new card. Now when I do a back up no vector maps are saved. Is it possible that the maps would be displayed when I start Locus but with the originally downloaded maps now gone and there is no way to back up the vector maps that I imported?

Hi Ziggy,

I checked your account in Locus store and I can see that maps are available for downloading till January 2019. So open Menu > Locus Store > search for previously downloaded map > and downloaded them again.

I'd like to also mention that Locus backup system backups only point, tracks and settings. Maps are not managed by backup. However in the latest version is possible to manually select custom map and male copy to cloud. Open Menu > Maps > Offline > tap on map option and select backup to cloud (please note that feature is in testing)
