Hello, when I use Locus Map Pro for record the way that I'm hiking it always happens that not the hole way will be recorded (for instance the real distance is 10 km, Locus says it is only 8.5 km) As you can see in the attachment I always have the following message: "Locus Map Leistung durch System-Batterie-Optimierung eingeschränkt". Then I have the possibility to change it in the settings of the smartphone (Galaxy S7 edge, newest Firmware). But pressing the settings-button always leads me to the general menue of the settings. Not to special point that I have to change. I have tried a lot to find the right point in the settings, but without success.

Can somebody help me please?!

thanks for your try to help! Unfortunately the problem still exists. After trying to solve the problem with your advice I contacted Samsung. They said, that they can't help me and I shall looking for help at the developer of the Locus-App. Now I'm buffled.

Hello André,

glad you responsed. Please forget for a while on dialog on your screenshot. If you have a problems with gaps in recorded tracks, issue is in enabled "GPS auto-off" feature as I see on your screenshot (small "time" symbol on GPS icon in functions panel). Disable this feature in Menu > Settings > GPS & Location. It should help.
