Locus Map on Xiaomi MI 9

Locus terminates unexpectedly on Xiaomi MI 9 with Android 9. I had this problem with an Android 5 device but was able to convince it to leave Locus alone. After 1 day of Android 9 I'm still groping in the dark. Anyone?

You have to set the MIUI Energysavingmode to "no restrictions".
Go to settings, installed apps, search for locus. There you can set additional Rights for the App if needed, too.

unfortunately, MIUI is still more and more aggressive regarding background processes. Please have a look here and follow the instructions exactly: https://dontkillmyapp.com/xiaomi.
