Hi,

My Locus Map app (Android, Samsung S8) last internet access is before July 30th. No more access to online maps, fox downlod/upload since that date.

I attached a screenshot (Italian speaking) of the error messages I'm getting anytime I open the app.

could I ask you what's the source of mentioned GPX file? And what error you get with online maps?

I Trier to download that gpx track from a website and got the network issue I reported.

It may be an error with the webpage, in this case the error message is wrong

Hello,

I'm still not sure if I can understand. I guess that you open the mentioned site in your browser, download gpx file and then import file in Locus app? Is it possible for you to share full URL for downloading of problematic GPX file. I'm sorry but I can't see Download button on https://www.montinvisibili.it/Undicesima

This problem generally does not happens with this app. As I have used this for long. It might be a problem in the app or on your device. You can once reinstall the app by uninstalling it. Or you can also contact Google Play Store Customer Service for more suggestions.

Hello Gianfranco,

it seems that the GPX file (track) is distributed as .zip package. Please try following:

  • tap on download button
  • do not open / process downloaded file with Locus, only download it
  • use arbitrary file manager and unpack downloaded .zip file (there are two files in package GPX and KML )
  • start Locus > Menu > Tracks > PLUS button > Import > and select unpacked KML or GPX file

I guess that the problem isn't download but the processing of zip file.
