Locus shows only single Mapsforge V4 maps

Last time I used Locus and maps from openandromaps, all maps were shown together.

After I had to reset my phone a month ago, Locus only shows a single map and not all of them. So I have to change the maps manually every time, what is a problem since I want to plan a track that crosses several borders.

Is it somehow possible, that Locus can display all the maps at the same time?

I'm using the latest Multilang V4 maps from openandromaps.

Smartphone: CAT S41, Android 8.0.0

Automatic loading of V4 maps should be already solved, but it seems there is still a problem with it.

Hello,

in the first step I'd like to only ask you to check settings: Menu > Settings > Maps > Offline > Lomaps & other vector maps > is automatic loading enabled?

Hi,

I'm sorry for my ignorance. Auto-loading of Mapsforge V4 maps isn't really supported in current official Locus. I only mention that we're preparing some improvement for next months to support also mentioned V4 maps.

Ah, I see .... but in Menions topic in the Locus forum it sounds like automatic loading of V4 maps should already working .... or is this only for a special beta version true?

menion would have detailed info. If I understand it correctly the support for V4 will come with the new map core. Mentioned map core it's available in some latest beta but official production version still doesn't support auto loading for V4.

This topic is only about automatic loading of MapsforgeV4 maps that are distributed (for example) by OpenAndroMaps. This issue do not effect any older V3 map or any LoMap.
