Good day Willy,
nice to see some post from you after long winter :).
This seems to be some new problem to you, that does not happen with previous 3.21.1 version? Can't imagine that something has influence on this on older Android 4.x. Are you still on Android 4.x?
Only what I think about is GPS auto-off function, but I'm sure you are skilled enough to notice this feature enabled.

Same hardware as before ;-) No GPS auto off function in use.
See previous mail report 10 oktober 2016 18:44 -> THL4000 A 4.4
Problem than was caused by a Locus optimalisation for Huawei....phones.
Seems similar issue -> THL4000 needs some time till precision of GPS is back in normal.
Sorry, can't say when (by Locus version) issue (re)started, was not (bike)active in winter.
EDIT: Had a quick reinstall V 3.20.1 and a short 20' testdrive: Screen off trackrecord result : = OK !

V3.22.1 BETA. Monitor by Powertutor app. GPS instability = intermittent problem !
GPS power (red) during screen on/off period (blue) ! See attachment

Good day Willy,
this is really really interested.
I'm checking source code of Locus now and compare to version 3.20.1. And except few tiny changes, all code seems to be identical. Is is possible to create me a log from some special version?
Btw. what about your sound notification on lost GPS signal? Does it play? If this notification play, it means that Locus Map is still alive and service that try to connect to GPS is also alive - so Locus is not disabling GPS, but system for some reason turn GPS off.
If on second side no sound notification play, it means that Locus Map was terminated, or Locus Map turn off GPS for some reason.
