Locus Beta 2.8.1.3 reports.
Pro:
-Locus running as a service: when you turn off contact--> Phone in stand-by(no more charging), when you turn on contact--> immediately Locus screen(on charging)
Contras:
Calculation for navigation does sometimes not start(I think when there is not yet GPS-fix(maybe insert option last known position).
Bugs On phone Huawei U8180:
Crashes on vector maps(Spain low level zoom).
Crashes on calculating navigation trips of more then 500km.
Crashes after importing navigation voice.
Map-center problem(See in the topics), I thought it was fixed, but it reappeared,
only it is no more dependend on TTS-voice. Focus is lost from the moment the map center is shifted. Unhappily Catlog was not registering(next time it will)
What phenomens did experience other beta testers.

The idea: see pro above, shutting down is not there.
The idea: navigation calculation see above.
The idea: to get comments from other users on different engines, it seems to me they are not there.
New idea: when Locus uses Vector Maps, it knows what map is the nearest. Why not make the changing of maps automatic.
I think for the moment there is enough for conversation.

PS;: I am not only sitting behind my PC sometimes I try to use Locus for real, and for the moment my other navigator(Sygic-Aura) on the same phone does not have all this child illnesses. The only thing I must not use there is 3-D--> Crash.
But I don`t need that.
But Vector-Maps of Mapsforge are much better, the smallest roads are on it.
Thats why I try Locus, and lets try to make it better together. OK..
