Locus on the new Garmin Monterra
Answered
The question is: Can locus work properly together with the hardware?
- display resolution 272 x 480 pixels
- use of additional information through ANT +, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi
- Android Version 4.xxx
To use Locus on Monterra would be great.
Please menion, make a good use of Locus possible.
I would buy locus a second time for the second google account.
Greg
Greg, I`m also interested if it will work :)
I hope, someone with this device will share some experience from real life
EDIT: from technical point of view, there should be no problem. I don`t know which CPU architecture is in this device, but I`m sure it will be one of supported by Locus

I have the Monterra since yesterday..... Locus runs well. However as it´s Android 4.0.4 Transfer of the vector maps etc to the SD card is not possible, at least without rooting.

I found a blog post about this, including a side-by-side screenshot of Locus on a Monterra vs a Nexus 4.

In short, that low-res screen looks much less awful than I thought it would.
