Logging cache: upload images from attachments

Hello,

I'm using Locus Map mainly for Geocaching. Most of the time I use offline logs. Some cache types (eg. Virtuals or Earth Caches) often require to take one or more photos. So I use the attachment tab to take a photo and link it to the cache.

Later when logging the cache I want to upload these photos from attachment tab, but I can't find a way to access these photos. It's not even possible to save the picture to the file system and then add it to the log by selecting it from the folder I saved it to.

Am I missing something or is it really not possible to add images from the attachment tab to the log?

Hello Oliver

- open the geocache listing either directly or via geocaching tools

- on basic tab you´ll find your log text, right of it click 3-dot button > edit

- scroll down to photos > add > select photo

- navigate to locus/data//media/photo, on some devices its also possible to find these photos in galerie/photo

- add one or more photos, confirm and upload your log with photo

Thanks Wolfgang,

I know how to add a picture to a log. Navigating to locus/data//media/photo makes things a little bit easier as I only have to select one from currently 144 images, but I have to remember the GC code and still need 7 clicks to get to folder photo.

What I would love to see is an option like "Add from attachments" (beside "Take picture" and "Select picture"), as I usually have only one or two images attached to a cache. This way the "attachments" tab would really make sense to me.

I'm using Locus Map in German, so I'm not sure about the correct options in the English version.

understand,

so your whish/idea is an option "select photo from> locus/data/media/photo" beside the 2 available options.

this would be very handy !

Well, not a direct link to locus/data/media/photo. If I have hundred of attachments, I still have to search the correct image. What I would like to see is an option to select an image from the "attachments" tab. The image(s) there are linked to this specific cache, but I can't directly access them when logging the cache and the required picture for a Virtual or Earth Cache is saved as an attachment.
